We have been off the air but a great deal has been happening. On January 4th, 2010 the second building was started.

This is a combination of the Greensburg UM Church and 2 representatives from Worldwide Christian Schools. They are working on storage closets for the many classrooms at Colegio Juan Wesley. The school is adjacent to Campamento Shalom. Thank you for your dedication and hard work!

Thank you to all for your hard work helping with the drainage and moving tiles to the third floor.

Praise God for the new computer lab that was donated. It will be up and ready for use in a couple of days. It is said to be the best in the area and gives Colegio Juan Wesley a nice, distinctive education.

A much needed barrier between the traffic and the kids is going up, thanks to help from the Kitchener Hands team. The Fenwick Hands team will also work on this wall. It replaces the fence we lost when the highway in front of Colegio Juan Wesley was widened.

The school was officially dedicated today with a beautiful 2 hour and then some ceremony. Most of the proceedings were video streamed live to a world wide audience. We want to thank Joe and Micah Leier of Freelance Missions for their hard work and excellent job to make this possible.

Colegio Juan Wesley will have the official ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony on January 8th, praise be to God. The dedication of the land took place in December of 2005. In June of 2006 construction began. Now 2 1/2 years later the school will open. Thank you to all who have made this possible. [...]

Well there are no words to say to God other than “Thanks, great Heavenly Father for your blessing!”
God is great in mercy and power. His power has made this work that we see now possible. We are united as Guatemalans with our friends and brothers from North America and we give our gratitude to God [...]

We are hoping to have a computer lab like this one in sister school Utatlan.  Praise God for a  significant donation that will allow this to be a reality. If you have any experience in designing and installing labs we would like to hear from you.
